Speedball Water-Soluble Block Printing Ink is a good quality ink that can be used for linocut and block printing. The ink is comparatively thick, so it may need to be diluted Considerably for use with calligraphy pens. It's water-based, so it won't stay on a shirt long when washing. Also, it is not water-proof and may run if the surface has been rewet. This ink is perfect for an elementary art class and is easy to clean up. The color is beautiful and is printed smoothly. The ink performed well and is a great buy. However, some customers complained about the thickness of the ink and how it doesn't work well for block printing, as they need to stamp at least twice to get good coverage. Also, some complained about clumpiness.
