It is suitable for both bedroom and entry doors and can be set to silent mode. The knob automatically locks in 4 seconds when the door is closed. It is weatherproof and can resist rain and sunlight. The knob can store 1 master code and 50 user codes. Deleting all user codes only clears all user codes but not the master code. The master code must exist, and the master code can only be modified. If you want to prevent multiple attempts to crack the password, reserved advanced commands are available. It is ANSI/BHMA Grade 3 Certified but is not immune to forcible or technical means of attack. A qualified locksmith or other security professional should be consulted to enhance security and reduce risk. This knob could not accommodate a thinner interior door slab. Some customers have reported issues with jamming and difficulty opening the door after two months of use. Replacement batteries were necessary. Some customers have experienced issues with the lock not automatically locking, despite the inbuilt mechanism, and the door knob can be twisted and opened without the correct code.
