    Answer: These fittings are not designed to be water tight. They are originally designed for farm field drainage with some leakage. If you need a water tight connection, consider using a 'fernco style' fitting that is water proof.

    Answer: The vertical part can expand to about 12 inches in length.
  • Question: Can this product work with 6-inch downsprouts?

    Answer: No, Flex-Drain does not make piping or adapters for 6-inch items. Their connectors and piping deal with 3-inch and 4-inch components.

    Answer: To connect the Flex-Grate #4400 to Flex-Drain T/Y #ADP53702 to Flex-Drain pipe #5110 to catchbasin NDS 900BKIT, you would need three couplers.

    Answer: It is not recommended. It is better to use PVC pipe or a dedicated pipe for the washing machine.
