Hayward Flow Switches GNR00003 Editorial Review
The Solaxx GNR00003 Flow Switch with Round Connector is a reliable and easy-to-install solution for those who own a PureChlor salt system. The round connector can only fit one way, making installation a breeze, and there is even an arrow on the switch to indicate the correct orientation for water flow. Many users have reported that this flow switch has worked flawlessly for multiple seasons, which is a testament to its durability and reliability. However, there have been a few customers who experienced a shorter lifespan with this replacement switch, which can be disappointing Considering the price. It is worth noting that when the switch does fail, it typically does so in the closed position, which means that the chlorine generator will still work but manual shutdown is required during routine maintenance to avoid chlorine generation without water flow. Overall, the Solaxx GNR00003 Flow Switch with Round Connector is a convenient and effective solution for those with a PureChlor salt system. While there may be occasional issues with longevity, its easy installation and reliable performance make it a worthwhile investment.
