The elago Mount Compatible with Google Nest Hello Video Doorbell 2021 Battery Model is an easy-to-integrate product that helps hide the hole from an old doorbell. It does not come with a metal baseplate but works directly with the metal plate provided with the Nest. The mount does not allow the attachment of a Wasserstein horizontal mount and is NOT compatible with the wired model. The product dimensions are 8.1 X 3.3 X 0.1''. While it technically works with the angle mount, the hole in the middle of the elago mount is too large, making it visible, which is opposite to the product's purpose. The product has received mixed reviews. Some customers experienced bulletproof operation and said it worked perfectly with the Nest front door cam. Some said that it was a nice elegant way to cover the prior doorbell hole, making the installation look professional on every level. On the other hand, other customers had to cut it into pieces to get the camera off the attachment, and some had to recharge it every few months, even on medium battery life settings. One customer said that the product was a great idea, but it needs improvements.
