CRKT Fixed Blade Hunting Knives 2709 Editorial Review
The CRKT Clever Girl Kukri Compact Machete is a heavy-duty powder-coated SK-5 carbon steel blade with a textured G10 handle and sheath (#2710). It can be carried horizontally on a belt, and the blade length is 4.6". The knife is designed for combat/utility use and is much sharper than most knives right out of the box. Reviews for the product are mixed. Some customers have experienced difficulty getting the knife out of the sheath, while others say the build quality is impressive. Many applaud the "Forged by War" program for providing aid for wounded vets. Some warn that the blade will not maintain its thickness near the point with hard use, and it may not be the best knife for throwing. The handle may be too long for smaller people, but it is not very thick.
