These are made of 100% cotton, heavy-weight gesso that makes them suitable for oil and acrylic painting, and even for acrylic pouring. The canvases are triple-primed, which means that they are smooth and ready for paint application. The canvases come in packs of six, but single canvases can also be bought. The canvases come with stretcher boards that have a depth of a little over 1/2 inch. They are fully squared, and the open area in the back is 13.25 x 13.25, adding to the ease of hanging the art. Overall, these are of good quality for the price, perfect for classroom settings or quick projects.
