They are waterproof, making them suitable for outdoor use, though effectiveness may be impacted by snow cover. Customers have also used these cells to repair the power source for solar garden lights. The panels are easy to wire together for increased output and can power small LEDs or projects such as architectural models. However, they are low on output and may not be powerful enough to turn on hobby motors.
