On the other hand, some customers were surprised by the quality of the lens, finding it very sharp and easy to focus, and thought it was a no-brainer for the money. The lens handles well and has a good feel, with acceptable image quality, but it is not a pro-grade lens. The lens hood is thin and not useful, and the lens is not coated, so flare and fringing can be problematic. Overall, it is a good budget option or a fun option for a walk-around lens.
