They have raised areas on the outside of the cone, which doesn't impact the fit or function of the dart. The shaft of the dart is 2.5mm in diameter and doesn't require sharpening. However, they might need more power to push them as they are heavier and larger. According to customer reviews, the darts are well-built and sturdy, with deadly and strong features. However, the weight of the darts affects their performance, making them slow and hard to get moving. Some customers experienced poor quality control, with 75% of their arrows badly bent. The included cones are also garbage and too lose fitting in some cases. The smaller .625 darts seem to work better as they move faster and are more effective on small game.
