Answer: Not sure on the exact measurement, but it fits your standard tapered broom handle. The spear itself works great. We have used them for 3 seasons with no issues.

The Eagle Claw AFROG5 Frog Spear is a tempered steel small gig that has received mixed reviews from customers. However, other customers have reported that the product is very brittle and that the spikes are made out of cheap material.
