Champion Power Equipment Trailer Winches Editorial Review
The Champion Power Equipment-12090 MarineTrailer Utility Winch Kit is a popular product with capabilities of 2000 lb. The winch comes with a Black & Red cable each 3ft long and a Blue & Yellow cable each 6ft long that can be interchangeable depending on the battery location and the winch. It has a similar noise level to that of a cordless drill, which is quieter than a shop vac. It is suggested that this winch can only be used for 5-10 minutes based on the load and then left to cool down for 5-15 minutes before using it again. This product is not IP Rated and is not waterproof. The winch can be mounted upside down. The product package does not include a solenoid, but users have suggested installing one to make the winch easier to use. The 3000 lb version of the same product can fit the Kawasaki mule 610 using the Kawasaki mount plate.
