    Answer: This box cutter is made of Cemented Carbide and the blade is made of tough stainless steel.

    Answer: Yes, the quick-change blade mechanism makes it easy to use with one hand.

    Answer: Yes, it comes with a free skull keychain clip and is small enough to fit in pockets, purses, backpacks, belt loops, and bags.
  • Question: How do you open this with one hand?

    Answer: It’s pretty tough to open with one hand..... if you release the lock and let the blade slide out using gravity, it can be opened with one hand, but it’s kinda unreliable.... it’s pretty much a two hand open with this one.
  • Question: How does the blade locking mechanism work? Is the knob spring loaded to where you push or pull it?

    Answer: One-hand Open ---use your thumb to push release button up and with either your middle or ring finger slide the the blade foward.
  • Question: Anyone have an idea for removing the glass breaker? I don’t want it breaking my phone in my pocket.

    Answer: You could use a file to remove it

    Answer: I did not receive two, but I have had mine for ages. Two is twice as good as one - that checks out mathematically, right?

    Answer: The blade with two notches on the top edge. It used to lock the blade.
  • Question: Exactly how much does this weigh?

    Answer: 45 grams or 1.6 oz without the blade. 48 grams or 1.7 oz with the blade
  • Question: Could this be used in a Keysmart key chain? (Within it?)

    Answer: I know there are many kinds of Keysmart units, so I would have to say, "probably." This utility knife is thicker than a standard key or course, and certainly wider. You would lose some of the functionality once it is installed in a Keysmart.

It also comes with replacement blades. The knife is perfect for everyday carry and is suitable for various tasks, including Construction. The knife is of excellent quality, and it is easy to carry. However, some users find it hard to slide out the blade. Also, the glass breaker can be challenging to thrust with in its current location. Overall, the knife is an excellent product for anyone looking for a portable tool; it comes in handy in emergencies or occasional use, albeit with limited ergonomics.
