Fosmon HDMI Switch 3 in 1 Out (4K@30Hz) 3 Port HDCP Switcher Splitter 1080p

The Fosmon 4K HDMI Switch has garnered a mixed reception from customers, characterized by a blend of satisfaction and frustration. Many users appreciate the functionality it provides, particularly in scenarios where multiple HDMI devices are needed, such as gaming Consoles, streaming devices, and DVD players. The automatic switching feature is often highlighted as a significant advantage, simplifying the transition between devices without the need for manual intervention. However, there are notable drawbacks that customers have experienced. Some users reported issues with display quality, including problems like "snow" and static, suggesting potential inadequacies in quality control or compatibility with specific devices. It's worth noting that the product seems to perform poorly with some streaming devices, primarily due to insufficient power supply through the HDMI ports. Several previous buyers indicate that the performance might be device-dependent—success is more likely with certain Consoles (like the PS3 and PS4) than with newer models or specific streaming devices. Additionally, the switch's limitations regarding resolution and refresh rate have also sparked concern. Users pointed out that while it supports 4K output, it only does so at 30Hz, which could be a limitation for those using high-refresh-rate devices like the PS5. Ultimately, while the Fosmon HDMI switch offers a budget-friendly solution for HDMI management, potential buyers should carefully Consider their specific device types and resolution preferences to ensure it meets their expectations. **
