DJ Tech Preamplifiers PREAMP1800 Editorial Review
The DJ Tech A-B Box pre-amplifier has received mixed reviews from customers, with many praising its sound quality and numerous audio controls, but there are also concerns about its slightly noisy signal and cold sound. However, there are numerous Pros to this preamp. It boasts dual-outputs that support sending the audio signal to two amplifiers, which is useful for connecting to different pairs of speakers. The preamp also offers several inputs, controls for adjusting bass, treble, and mid-range frequency, and a tape monitor. Despite some criticisms such as the slightly-NOISY signal, imparts a cold sound and red coloring that isn't great to see with other electronic equipment, a majority of customers have given positive reviews. They loved the slim design that fits into any rack system, the option to record to a flash drive, and the fact that it works well with DJ gigs for long hours with no problems.
