Sonnax Rebuild Kits SNX-702 Editorial Review
The 700R4 Governor Gear has received generally positive feedback from customers, highlighting its effectiveness and essential function in restoring transmission performance. Users appreciated the ease of installation, with many noting that, while the gear fit snugly within the governor, minor adjustments such as drilling a pin hole were straightforward. The ability to replace the often obsolete part proved invaluable, as some customers struggled to find alternatives through local auto parts stores or dealers. Several reviewers remarked on the gear's performance, reporting notable improvements in their transmission shifting capabilities after installation. However, a small number of experiences pointed to sizing issues, with one customer mentioning that the gear required filing down to fit properly. Overall, even with minor installation caveats, most users have expressed satisfaction with the product, indicating that it meets or exceeds expectations for its intended purpose.
