- PROHIBIT FORCED ENTRY – Use our strong, durable deadlock, featuring a jimmy-resistant design, to prohibit forced entry by the spreading of door frames. It provides added security to your home by securing your door to its jamb and includes a tamper-resistant shutter guard to deter unwanted entry.
- DURABLE CONSTRUCTION – Constructed of diecast metal with a satin nickel finish, this single cylinder deadbolt is strong, high quality and durable, giving you peace of mind that your home will remain protected against intruders.
- EASY INSTALLATION – Installation is quick and easy, with instructions included. The deadlock is a surface-mounted, cross-bolt locking device which can be mounted to 1-3/8” to 2-3/8” thick, wood or metal doors. It can be installed inside or outside, on left- or right-hinged doors.
- INCLUDES - This door lock includes an angled strike, a rim cylinder, two keys (keyed differently), a cylinder trim ring, fasteners, a mounting plate, instructions and a tamper-resistant shutter guard. This lock requires a 1-1/4” hole and uses Segal keyway.
- INSTALLATION TIP - Snap-off or cut-off end sections of tailpiece as needed, if it is too long for your door. Having the tailpiece too long can negatively affect the performance of the lock. Use pliers to snap-off, a hacksaw or small disk to cut-off, and a file to remove sharp edges and burrs.
