eXtremeRate Editorial Review
The eXtremeRate Microswitch for the PS5 Controller BDM-030 is primarily geared towards gamers looking to enhance their performance, particularly in fast-paced games like Fortnite. Initial feedback from users highlights a generally positive experience, emphasizing the improved responsiveness and tactical advantage the device offers. Installation is noted as a well-structured process, though it requires a significant time investment of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Users have praised the accompanying installation video for its clarity, which helps streamline the somewhat intricate setup. One user mentioned opting to disable the trigger feedback motors in the settings rather than physically cutting the cables, maintaining the ability to revert back to the original setup if needed. The tactile feedback and rapid response time of the microswitch have particularly impressed users, contributing to an enhanced gaming experience. However, there are concerns about durability, as one review noted functionality issues with the trigger after a month and a half of use, raising questions about the long-term reliability of the product. Overall, the eXtremeRate Microswitch appears to be a worthwhile modification for dedicated gamers, provided they are willing to invest the time in installation and are prepared to handle potential durability issues. **
