Answer: I don't know for sure of course, but because you can extend the ear pads on headphones, you can adjust the pads to sit in the narrowest part of the stand with minimal pressure I think. But you can always send the stand back if you're worried after trying it, right? -

Answer: No, it's not at all. In fact it's a very nice headphone stand overall. My husband was chuffed to bits with it.
