Stonemaier Games Dedicated Deck Card Games STM641 Editorial Review
The Stonemaier Games STM637 Scythe: The Rise of Fenris expansion is a well-manufactured and well-presented game. It comes with high-quality cardboard coins, but metal coins can be purchased separately. The expansion is in English, despite some confusion in the product description. This expansion can be played even without any other expansions or the basic game. Overall, Scythe: The Rise of Fenris is a fun game that is suitable for players of all ages. It may not be as good as the original Scythe, but it still provides a blast of entertainment. The coins included in the game are weighty and have a good feel to them. They can also be used in other games that require coins. The game itself has stunning illustrations and great attention to detail. It may seem complex at first, but once the basics are understood, it is easy to play. Some players have mentioned that there may not be much interaction, but that ultimately depends on the style of play. Rise of Fenris has impressive graphic design and packaging, adding to the overall experience. While some might Consider the game expensive, the quality of materials and printing make it worth the price. The game has received high praise from players, with ratings ranging from 8.5 to 10. It is recommended for those who enjoy strategy games and like to think strategically. The gameplay time ranges from 1.5 to 2.15 hours. In summary, Scythe: The Rise of Fenris is a highly recommended expansion that adds to the experience of the base game. The game offers great quality components, a captivating theme, and challenging gameplay.
